THE SONG OF MOSES AND THE LAMB
This lesson is suggested by the vision of Revelation 15:1-4. Victorious saints are pictured there, in glory, praising God, singing "the song of Moses... and the song of the Lamb." A familiar hymn picks up the phrase: "Sing the song of Moses and the Lamb, by and by; and dwell with Jesus evermore." What does this mean?
"The Lamb" is Jesus. Moses was the great Law-giver of Israel. We will look at parallels in their lives and work, and in this common ground, discover why the victory song is called by their names or titles.

Conclusion
The song of Moses and the Lamb refers to a song of redemption, a victory celebration honoring God's gracious release from bondage and enemies. Moses was faithful, the writer of Hebrews tells us, "in all God's house." But Jesus, the one of whom that prophet was only a type, was faithful "over His own house." Let us praise Him for His work for us!
